PostNL Amsterdam reduces residual waste with new collection structure

PostNL Amsterdam has implemented an innovation in waste collection to reduce the amount of residual waste and increase the percentage of separated waste. Previously, paper, cardboard and plastic disappeared into the residual waste press, resulting in a residual waste rate of 78%.

Milgro installed no less than 140 new collection devices at PostNL's letter sorting location. The new collection structure is equipped with clear collection instructions to ensure that the separate collection of waste is done in an efficient and effective manner. With this, the first steps have been taken to achieve the desired result.
