Preparing for the upcoming natural resource transition
Today we had a visit from Member of Parliament Kiki Hagen. During this visit we took politicians into Milgro's vision, a different view of waste. After all, waste is a raw material that has lost its way! In dialogue we discussed the role of business and politics in the upcoming raw materials transition.
Where the government's focus is still too often on recycling, giving the impression that society is being unburdened, it ignores actually keeping raw materials available, at the lowest possible footprint. Milgro is convinced that keeping raw materials available will have to come from getting a grip on waste. The impact can be accelerated by combating waste and maintaining a grip on raw materials.
At this moment, resource management is still often based on recycling resources and keeping the real challenge of the resource transition out of sight. Milgro has the ambition to change existing ecological and economic systems and offers the prospect of keeping raw materials available. The Earth simply cannot continue to act as an illegal sponsor for many business models, endangering the future of many generations.
No earth to waste!
