As an active and committed partner of MVO Nederland for many years, Milgro is happy to support the New Business Agenda 2019, as presented by the sustainable business network at the New Year's event. The document outlines 'the state of the country', describing a number of major challenges, such as (food) waste and declining biodiversity. But above all, the document is also an optimistic 'roadmap' to the new, circular economy.
‘Pass on the raw material
The new business agenda is divided into seven agenda items. Agenda item 7, “Pass on the raw material” in particular, ties in perfectly with Milgro's mission. As a technology partner for managing natural capital, Milgro provides the knowledge, methodologies and tools to enable and accelerate the transition to the new economy.
The New Business Agenda is not limited to raw materials management. For example, 'social impact as a business model' and 'calculating pollution and CO2 emissions' are also discussed.
