For the second consecutive year, Milgro has been named FD Gazelle, making it one of the fastest growing companies in the Netherlands.
Milgro is in a growth phase that has been going on for several years now. “We are not only growing strongly. We are also at the end of a transformation, ”says Milgro's founder and co-CEO Laurens Groen. “We started 25 years ago as a project office for waste separation, but we have evolved into a process partner for sustainable resource management. Thanks to our innovative method and focus on data, we can really make an impact in the transition to the circular economy. "
In recent years, Milgro has focused on scalability, which has now resulted in significant growth acceleration. “This new FD Gazelle is a nice confirmation of that choice,” says Groen. “In the coming years we will not only increase our impact with our current clients, but also connect many new - international - customers,” he says.
Fifteen years of FD Gazelles
For fifteen years now, the FD has rewarded companies with a turnover growth of at least 20% by awarding them as FD Gazelle. This year, the criteria were even stricter, and the FD also looked at, among other things, the growth in the number of employees and profitability. Milgro is also among the top in the Netherlands on the basis of these stricter criteria.
“We think it's great that the FD is also seriously looking at the actual impact and results this year,” says Groen. "Our clients certainly feel that impact, not only in the financial field, but also on their opportunities in the circular transition."
